Leif is gone.

Hey all,
Leif Erik Beorn Stringham has passed. Last night friends and family gathered at the hospital to say a final goodbye. Moon had pictures printed up and hung around the room and several flower arraignments were brought in. People began filtering into his room to see him around 6:45pm and it continued on until around 9pm. After a few more words where said, the doctors began disconnecting him from the machines and his body passed away around 9:25pm. Once the doctors finished disconnecting him from all of the machines Moon, her mom, brother, a few close friends, and I washed Leif's body and dressed him in his favorite suit. While we were doing this, the doctors prepared Leif's body according to their normal ways to keep a body that has passed. When we finished, we all went to the conference room for a short while while the Red Cross Group retrieved Leif's eyes for donation. Afterwords we went to see Leif one final time, accepted the donation certificate from the Red Cross, and began filtering out of the hospital.
Today Moon is going to the hospital to take care of some final details and pickup a copy of Leif's death certificate. I've spoken to the US Embassy and will officially register Leif's passing with them on Monday. Thank you all for your love and support throughout Leif's life and especially now in his time of passing.
Sincerely,
Lance Devon Gwaihir Stringham
